ZIYAARAT AMEENALLAH
According to Imam Muhammad Al Baqir (A.S), Imam Ali Zayn ul Aabideen (A.S) used to recite this Ziyaarat:
(This Ziyaarat can also be recited for the other Holy Imams.)

السَّلامُ عَليکَ يا أمينَ اللهِ في أرضِه و حُجَّتَهُ عَلي عِبادِه

ASSALAAMU A' LAYKA YAA AMEENALLAAHI FEE ARZ"IHI WA H'UJJATAHU
A'LAA I'BAADIHI

Peace be on you, o trusted guardian, appointed by Allah,
to administer His earth, and to convince the mankind to accept His plan.

السَّلامُ عَليکَ يا أميرَالمُؤمِنينَ

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YAA AMEERAL MOOMINEEN

Peace be on you, o Ameer ul Moomineen;

أشهَدُ أنَّکَ جاهَدتَ فِي اللهِ حَقَّ جِهادِه

ASH-HADU ANNAKA JAAHADTA FILLAAHI H'AQQA JIHAADIHI

I testify that you made utmost effort, as it should be, in the cause of Allah

وَ عَمِلتَ بِکِتابِه وَ اتَّبعْتَ سُنَنَ نَبيِّه صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَ آلِه

WA A'MILTA BIKITAABIHI WAT TABAA'-TA SUNANA NABIYYIHI
S'ALLALLAAHU A'LAYHI WA AALIHI

acted upon his book, followed the way of life of his prophet,
[blessing of Allah be on him and on his children],

حَتّي دَعاکَ اللهُ إلي جِوارِه

H'ATTAA DA-A'AKALLAAHU ILAA JIWAARIH

to the last moment of your life until Allah invited you to come unto Him,

فَقَبَضَکَ إلَيهِ بِاختيارِه

FAQABAZ"AKA ILAYHI BI-IKHTIYAARIHI

And used His discretion to take you away,

وَ ألزَمَ أعدائَکَ الحُجَّةَ مَعَ ما لَکَ مِن الحُجَجِ البالِغَةِ عَلي جَميعِ خَلقِه

WA ALZAMA AA'- DAAA-IKAL H'UJJATA MA-A'MAALAKA MINAL H'UJAJEL
BAALIGHATI A'LAA JAMEE-I'KHALQIHI

And sealed your enemies' doom with the allegation that the arguments had been made known to one and all through you.

اَللّهمَّ فاجْعَل نَفسي مُطمَئنَّةً بِقَدَرِک

ALLAAHUMMA FAJ-A'L NAFSEE MUT'MA-INNATAN BIQADARIKA

O Allah let me be happy and satisfied with that which Thou considers good for me,

راضيةً بِقَضائک

RAAZ" I YATAN BIQAZ" AAA-IKA

let me agree with that which thou decides for me,

مولِعَةً بِذِکرِکَ و دُعائِک

MOOLA-A'TAN BID 'IKRIKA WA DU-A'AA-IKA

let me passionately remember Thee, and invoke Thee,

مُحِبَّةً لِصَفَوةِ أوليائِک

MUH'IBBATAN LIS'AFWATI AWLIYAAA-IKA

let me be in love with Thy pure and sincere friends,

مَحبوبَةً في أرضِکَ و سَمائک

MAH'BOOBATAN FEE ARZ"IKA WA SAMAAA-IKA

let me be well-liked and respect on the earth, and in the heavens,

صابِرَةً عَلي نُزولِ بَلائِک

S'AABIRATAN A'LAA NUZOOOLI BALAAA-IKA

let me be unruffled and well composed in the midst of misfortunes,

شاکِرَةً لِفَواضِلِ نَعمائک

SHAAKIRATAN LIFAWAAZ"ILI NAA'-MAAA-IKA

Let me be gratefully thankful in prosperity,

ذاکِرةً لِسَوابِغِ آلائِک

D'AAKIRATAN LISAWAABIGHI AALAAA-IKA

Let me be mindful of much and more bounties,

مُشتاقَةً إلي فَرحَةِ لِقائک

MUSHTAAQATAN ILAA FARH'ATI LIQAAA-IKA

Let me ardently desire for the heart warming meeting with thee,

مُتَزَوِّدَةً التَّقوي لِيَومِ جَزائِک

MUTAZAWWIDATAT TAQWAA LIYAWMI JAZAAA_IKA

Well-equipped with piety to gain my end on the Day of Requital,

مُستَنَّةً بِسُنَنِ أوليائکَ

MUSTANNATAN AN BISUNANI AWLIYAAA- IKA

Let me follow into the footsteps of thy representatives,

مُفارِقَةً لِأخلاقِ أعدائِک

MUFAARIQATAN LI-AKHLAAQI  AA'-DAAA-IKA

Let me disassociate myself from the mannerism of  thy enemies,

مَشغولَةً عَن الدُّنيا بِحَمدِکَ و ثَنائِک

MASHGHOOLATAN A'NID DUNYAA BIH'AMDIKA WA THANAAA-IKA

Let me pass my time, in this world, by praising and glorifying thee.

اللّهُمَّ إنَّ قُلوبَ المُخبِتينَ إليکَ والِهة

ALLAAHUMMA INNA QULOOBAL MUKHBITEENA ILAYKA WAALIHATUN

O Allah, verily, the hearts of those who surrender to Thee, are full of passionate love,

وَ سُبُلَ الرّاغِبينَ إليکَ شارِعَة

The path of those, Who long for thee, is the straight(true)road

و أعلامَ القاصِدينَ إليکَ واضِحَة

WA AA'-LAAMAL QAAS'IDEENA ILAYKA WAAZ"IH'ATUN

The instructions given by those who lean on thee, are distinct and precise,

و أفئِدةَ العارِفينَ مِنکَ فازِعَة

WA AF-IDATAL A'ARIFEENA MINKA FAAZI-A'TUN

The minds of those, who are aware of thy reality, are filled with awe and reverence,

و أصواتَ الدّاعينَ إليکَ صاعِدَة

WA AS'WAATAD DAA-E'ENA ILAYKA S'AA-I'DATUN

The call of those, who invite unto thee, is loud and clear,

و أبوابَ الإجابَةِ لَهُم مُفَتَّحَة

WA ABWAABAL IJAABATI LAHUM MUFATTAH'ATUN

And the doors of approval are kept open for them,

و دَعوَةَ مَن ناجاکَ مُستَجابَة

WA DAA'-WATA MAN NAAJAAKA MUSTAJAABATUN

Whose submits his supplication to Thee receives a favourable  answer

و تَوبَةَ مَن أنابَ إليکَ مَقبولَة

WA TAWBATA MAN ANAABA ILAYKA MAQBOOLATUN

Whoso turns repentant unto thee gets acceptance(amnesty)

وَ عَبرَةَ مَن بَکي مُن خَوفِکَ مَرحومَة

WA A'BRATA MAN BAKAA MIN KHAWFIKA MARH'OOMATUN

Whose bursts into tears in fear of Thy punishment obtains mercy

وَ الإغاثَةَ لِمَنِ اسْتَغاثَ بِکَ مَوجودَة

WAL IGHAATHATA LIMANIS TAGHAATHA BIKA MAWJOODATUN

Whose seeks redress from thee Finds the required assistance at his disposal,   

وَ الإعانَةَ لِمَنِ اسْتَعانَ بِکَ مَبذولَة

WALI-A'ANATA LIMANIS-TA-A'ANA BIKA MABD'OOLATUN

Whoso ask for thy help procures The aid as a gift.

وَ عِداتِکَ لِعِبادِکَ مُنجَزَة

WA I'DAATIKALI-I'BAADIKA MUNJAZATUN

Thy promise made with thy servants is fulfilled;

وَ زَلَلَ مَنِ اسْتَقالَکَ مُقالَة

WA ZALALA MANIS-TAQAALAKA MUQAALATUN

Whose asks for pardon of his errors finds them reduced to nothing.

وَ أعمالَ العامِلينَ لَدَيکَ مَحفوظَة

WA AA'-MAALAL AA'-MILEENA LADAYKA MAH'FOOZ'ATUN

Whoso does every thing for thy sake discovers that each and every deed has been preserved.

وَ أرزاقَکَ إلي الخَلائِقِ مِن لَدُنکَ نازِلَة

The means of livelihood available to the created beings come from thee like a rainfall

وَ عَوائِدَ المَزيدِ إليهِم واصِلَة

WA A'WAAA-IDAL MAZEEDI ILAYHIM WAAS'ILATUN

and in addition many recurring favours and bounties reach them in regular successions,

وَ ذُنوبَ المُستَغفِرينَ مَغفورَة

the sins of those, who ask for forgiveness, are overlooked,

وَ حَوائِجَ خَلقِکَ عِندَکَ مَقضيَّة

WA H'AWAAA-IJA KHALQIKA I'NDAKA MAQZ"IYYATUN

The wants and needs of all that which has been created by thee are properly satisfied,

وَ جَوائِزَ السّائلينَ عِندَکَ مُوفَّرَة

WA JAWAAA-IZASSAA-ILEENA I'NDAKA MUWAFFARATUN

Those who put forward genuine demands get more than they ask for,

وَ عَوائِدَ المَزيدِ مُتَواتِرَة

WA A'WAA-IDAL MAZEEDI MUTAWAATIRATUN

One after the other, again and again,

وَ مَوائِدَ المـُستَطعِمينَ مُعَدَّة

For the hungry wholesome food is arranged,

وَ مَناهِلَ الظِّماءِ مُترَعَة

WA MANAAHILAZ'Z'IMAA-I MUTRA-A'TUN

For the thirsty clean water is available in abundance.

اَللّهمَّ فَاستَجِبْ دُعائي

O Allah give favourable answer to my prayer,

وَ أقبِلْ ثَنائي

WAQBAL THANAA-EE

Achnowledge the praise I sing in worship,

وَ اجْمَع بَيني وَ بَينَ أوليائي

WAJ-MAA'-BAYNEE WA BAYNA AWLIYAAA-EE

Let there be peace and harmony between me and my friends

بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَليٍّ وَ فاطِمَةَ وَ الحَسَنِ وَ الحُسَينِ

BIH'AQQI MUH'AMMADIN WA A'LIYYIN WA FAATI'MATA WAL H'ASANI WAL H'USAYN

For the sake of Muhammad, Ali, Ftimah, Hasan and Husayn,

إنَّک وَليُّ نَعمائي وَ مُنتَهي مُنايَ وَ غايَةُ رَجائي في مُنقَلَبي وَ مَثوايَ

INNAKA WALIYYU NAA'-MAAA-EE WA MUNTAHAA MUNAAYA WA
GHAAYATU RAJAAA-EE FEE MUNQALABEE WA MATHWAAYA

Verily, thou art my Benefactor who provides with bounties,
The ultimate destination of my hopes,
In my future life, and during this short life.

أنْتَ إلهي وَ سَيِّدي وَ مَولاي

Thou art my God, my master and my lord;

اِغفِر لِأوليائِنا وَ کُفَّ عَنّا أعدائَنا

AGHFIR LI-AWLIYAAA-INAA WAKUFFA A'NNAA
AA'-DAAA-ANAA

Welcome my friends, Keep our enemies away from us;

وَ اشْغَلْهُمْ عَن أذانا

WASHGHALHUM A'N AD'AANAA

To save us from the evil mischief, divert their attention,

وَ أظهِر کَلِمَةَ الْحَقِّ وَ اجْعَلهَا الْعُليا

WA AZ'HIR KALIMATAL H'AQQWAJ-A'LHAL U'LYAA

Let the" true word'' come out in the open, supreme and dominate,

وَ أدحِضْ کَلِمَةَ الْباطِلِ وَ اجْعَلهَا السُّفلي

WA ADH'Z" KALIMATAL BAAT'IL WAJ-A'LHAS SUFLAA

refute and condemn the" foul lie'' rendered contemptible,

إنَّکَ عَلي کُلِّ شَيءٍ قَدير

INNAKA A'LAA KULLI SHAY-IN QADEER

Verily, thou are able to do all things.
