ZIAARAT ASHURAH
Imam Muhammad bin Ali al Baqir told Alqama ibna Muhammad to recite this Ziaarat and whose recites this Ziaarat enjoyes the status of the Martyres of Karbala, and gets the recompense like those who go to performe Imam Husayn’s Ziyaarat.

اَلسَّلامُ عَليكَ يا أباعَبدِ‌الله

ASSALAAMU A' LAYKA YAA ABAA A' BDILLAAH

Peace be on you. O Aba Abdullah!

اَلسَّلامُ عَليكَ يَابنَ رَسولِ‌الله

ASSALAAMU A' ALAYKA YABNA RASOOLILLAAH

Peace be on you. O son of the Messenger of Allah!

اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيكَ يَابنَ أميرِ‌المـُؤمِنينَ وَ ابنَ سَيِّدِ الوَصيّين

ASSALAAMU A' LAYKA Y ABNA AMEERIL MOO- MINEENA WABNA SAYYIDIL WASIYYEEN.

Peace be on you. O son of the commander of the Faithfuls. The Forebear of the Successors!

اَلسَّلامُ عَليكَ يَابنَ فاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِساءِ العالَمين

ASSALAAMU A' LAYKA YABNA FAAT ' IMATA SAYYIDATI NISAAA- IL A'ALAMEEN

Peace be on you. O son of Faatimah. The choicest Among the women of the worlds!

اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيكَ يا ثارَاللهِ وَ ابنَ ثارِه وَ الوِترَ المـَوتور

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YAA THAARALLAAHI WABNA THAARIHEE WAL WITRAL MAWTOOR

Peace be on you. Who was martyred while fighting Heroically in the cause of Allah. The Son of Allah's fearless warrior. You were isolated and had been Attacked with a vengeance!

اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيكَ وَ عَلَي االاَرواحِ الَّتي حَلَّت بِفِنائِك

AASALAAMU A'LAYKA WA A'LAL ARWAAH' ILLATEE H'ALLAT BI- FANAAA- IKA

Peace be on you and on those Souls who had gathered in your Camp.

عَلَيكُم مِنّي جَميعاً سَلامُ اللهِ أبداً ما بَقيتُ وَ بَقِيَ الَّليلُ وَ النَّهارُ

A' LAYKUM MINNEE JAMEE- A'N SALAAMULLAAHI ABADAN MAA BAQEETU WA
BAQIYALLAYLU WANNAHAAR

I pray and invoke Allah to keep All of you tranquil and restful. For ever; so far I am alive. This is my prayer, and till nights and days Follow each other.

يا أبا عَبدِاللهِ لَقَد عَظُمَت الرَّزيَّة

YAA ABBA A'BDILLAAH LAQAD A'Z'UMATIRRAZIYYATU

O Abba Abdullah! Unbearable is the sorrow,

وَ جَلَّت وَ عَظُمَت المـُصيبَةُ بِكَ عَلَينا وَ عَلي جَميعِ أهلِ الاِسلامِ

WA JALLAT WA A'Z'-MATIL MUS' EEBATU BIKA A'LAYNAA WA A'LAA JAMEE- I' AHLIL ISLAM

Nerve-Racking is the Agony, You put up with, for us and for all the (true) Muslims,

وَ جَلَّت وَ عَظُمَت مُصيبَتُكَ فِي السَّماواتِ عَلي جَميعِ أهلِ السَّماوات

WA JALLAT WA A'Z'UMAT MUS'EEBATUKA FIS- SAMAAWAATI A'LAA JAMEE-I ' AHLIS SAMAAWAAT

Crimes committed against you also shocked and unnerved the dwellers of the heavens, one and all.

فَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً أسَّسَتْ أساسَ الظُّلمِ وَ الجَورِ عَلَيكُم أهلِ البَيت

FA- LA- A' NALLAAHU UMMATAN ASSASAT ASAASAZ' Z' ULMI WALJAWRI A'LAYKUM AHLAL BAYTI

May Allah condemn and damn the people who laid the basis and set up the groundwork, to wander astray and turn aside from not only you and your family but to take liberties and bear hard upon you.

وَ لَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً دَفَعَتكُم عَن مَقامِكُم وَ أزالَتكُم عَن مَراتِبِكُم الَّتي رَتَّبَكُم اللهُ فيها

WA LA- A'NALLAAHU UMMATAN DAFA-A'TKUM A'N MUQAAMIKUM
WA AZAALATKUM A'N MARAATIBUKUMULLATEE RATTABAKUMULLAAHU FEEHAA

May Allah condemn and damn the people who tried to obscure and deny your office and status, wilfully neglected your rank and class Allah had made known in clear terms.

وَ لَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً قَتَلَتكُم

WA LA- A'NALLAAHU UMMATAN QATALATKUM

May Allah condemn and damn the people who killed you.

وَ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْمُمَهِّدينَ لَهُم بِالتَّمكينِ مِن قِتالِكُم

WA LA- A'NALLAAHUL MUMAHHIDEENA LAHUM BITTAMKEENI MIN QITAALIKUM

May Allah condemn and damn the abettors who instigated and had a part in your murder.

بَرِئتُ إلَي اللهِ وَ إلَيكُم مِنهُم وَ مِن أشياعِهِم وَ أتباعِهِم وَ أوليائِهِم

WA BARIA- TU ILALLAAHI WA
ILAYKUM MINHUM WA MIN ASHYAA- I' HIM WA ATBAA- I'HIM WA AWLIAA- IHIM

I turn to you and Allah, away from them, their henchmen, their followers and their friends,

يا أبا عَبدِالله إنّي سِلمٌ لِمَن سالمَـَكُم وَ حَربٌ لِمَن حارَبَكُم إلي يَومِ القيامَة

YAA ABAA A'BDILLAAH INNEE SILMUN LIMAN SAALAMAKUM WA H'ARBUN
LIMAN H'AARABAKUM ILAA YAWMIL QIYAAMATI

O Abba Abdullah, I make peace with those who make Their peace with you, I make war on those who go to war against you, till the day of judgement.

وَ لَعَنَ اللهُ آلَ زيادٍ وَ آلَ مَروانَ

WA LA- A'NALLAAHU AALAZIYAAADIN WA AALA MARWAAN

May Allah condemn and damn the family of Ziyaad and the family of Marwaan;

وَ لَعَنَ اللهُ بَني أمَيَّة قاطِبَة وَ لَعَنَ اللهُ ابْنَ مَرجانَة

WA LA- A'NALLAAHU BANEE UMAYYATA QAAT'I BATAN WA LA- 'NALLAAHUBNA MARJAANAH

May Allah condemn and damn the group and the tribe of Umiyyah, one and all, altogether; May Allah Condemn and damn ibna Marjaanah;

وَ لَعَنَ اللهُ عُمَرَ ابْنَ سَعدٍ وَ لَعَنَ اللهُ شِمراً

WA LA- A'NALLAAHU U'MARABNA S AA'D WA LA- A'NALLAAHU SHIMRAN

May Allah condemn and damn Umar bin saad; May Allah condemn and damn Shimr,

وَ لَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً أسرَجَتْ وَ ألجَمَت وَ تَنَقَّبَت لِقِتالِك

WA LA-A'NALLAAHU UMMATAN ASRAJAT W A-A'LJAMAT WA TANAQQABAT LI-QITAALIKA

May Allah condemn and damn the people who celebrate, enjoy, sing and dance on the day of your martyrdom.

بِأبي أنتَ وَ اُمّي لَقَد عَظُمَ مُصابي بِك

BI-ABEE ANTA WA UMMEE LAQAD A' Z'UMA MUS'AABEE BIKA

I, my father and mother are at your Disposal, Profound is my sorrow for you.

فَاَسْئَلُ اللهَ الَّذي أكرَمَ مَقامَكَ وَ أكرَمَني بِكَ أن يَرزُقَني طَلَبَ ثارِك مَعَ إمامٍ مَنصورٍ مِن أهلِ بَيتِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّي‌اللهُ‌عَلَيه‌وَآلِه

Beg Allah, who honoured you above others; to be generous toward me on account of you. And give me the opportunity to be with the victorious Imaam, the descendant of Muhammad (blessings and peace be on him and on his children from Allah) at the time of the final and decisive war against Allah enemies.

اَللّهُمَّ اجعَلني عِندَكَ وَجيهاً بِالحُسَينِ عَليهِ‌السَّلامُ فِي الدُّنيا وَ الاخِرَة

ALLAAHUMMAJ-A' LNEE I'NDAKA WAJEEHAN BIL H'USAYNI FIDDUNYAA WAL AAKHIRATI

O my Allah make me attend to thy cause. Sincerely, in every respect following in Husayn's footsteps, in this world and the hereafter.

يا أبا عَبدِاللهِ إنّي أتقرَّبُ إلَي اللهِ وَ إلي رَسولِه وَ إلي أميرِالمُؤمنينَ وَ إلي فاطِمَةَ

YAA ABAA A'BDILLAAH INNE ATAQARRABU ILALLAAHI WA ILAA RASOOLIHEE
WA ILAA AMEERIL MOO-MINEEN WA ILAA FAAT'AMATA

O Abba Abdellah, I come nearer and seek greater intimacy with Allah, with His messenger, With Ameerul Moomineen, With faatimah,

وَ إلي الحَسَنِ وَ إلَيكَ بِمُوالاتِكَ وَ بِالبَرائَةِ مِمَّن أسَّسَ أساسَ ذلكَ

WA ILAL H'ASANI WA ILAYKA BI- MAWAALAATIKA WA BIL BARAAA-ATI
MIMMAN ASSASA ASAASA ZAALEKA

With Hasan and with you,with the help of your love and patronage, cutting off every connection with those who laid the foundation for (your suffering)

وَ بَني عَليهِ بُنيانَه وَ جَري في ظُلمِه وَ جَورِه عَلَيكُم وَ عَلي أشياعِكُم

WA BANAA A' LAYHI BUNYAANAHOO WA JARAA FEE Z'ULMIHEE WA JAWRIHEE
A'LAYKUM WA A'LAA ASHYAA-I'KUM

Devised and carried out their corrupt plan of action boldly gave currency to reign of terror and cruelty to oppress you and your friends and followers.

بَرِئتُ إلَي اللهِ وَ إلَيكُم مِنهُم

BARIA-TU ILALLAAHI WA ILAYAKUM MINHUM

Detach myself from them and present myself to Allah and to you.

وَ أتَقَرَّبُ إلي اللهِ ثُمَّ إلَيكُم بِمُوالاتِكُم وَ مُوالاةِ وَليِّكُم

WA ATAQARRABU ILALLAAHI THUMMA ILAYKUM BI-MAWAALAATIKUM WA
MUWAALAATI WALIYYIKUM

I (first) seek greater intimacy with Allah and then with you to win your love and patronage, and to make friends with your friends.

وَ بِالبَرائَةِ مِن أعدائِكُم وَ النّاصِبينَ لَكُم الحَرب

WA BIL BARAAA-ATI MIN AA'-DAAA-IKUM WANNAAS'IBEENA LAKUMUL H'ARBA

Cut off all links with your enemies, and with those who planted the seeds of hostility against you.

وَ بِالبَرائَةِ مِن أشياعِهِم وَ أتباعِهِم

WA BIL BARAAA- ATI MIN ASHYAA-I'HIM WA ATBAA-IHIM

And reject and discard their association and their followers.

إنّي سِلمٌ لِمَن سالَمَكُم وَ حَربٌ لِمَن حارَبَكُم

INNEE SILMUN LIMAN SAALAMAJKUM WA H'ARBUN LIMAN H'AARABAKUM

I make peace with those who made their peace with you, I search out and conform those who waged war against you.

وَ وَليٌّ لِمَن والاكُم وَ عَدوٌّ لِمَن عاداكُم

WA WALIYYUN LIMAN WAALAAKUM WA 'ADUWWUN LIMAN A'ADAAKUM

I make friends with those who stood by you, I strive against those who came in conflict with you.

فَأسئَلُ اللهَ الَّذي أكرَمَني بِمَعرِفَتِكُم وَ مَعرِفَةِ أوليائِكُم

FA-AS-ALULLAAHALLAD'EE AKRAMANEE BI-MAARIFATIKUM WA MAA'RIFATI AWLIYAAA-IKUM

Therefore, I make a request to Allah to acquaint (me) with the awareness that perceives you and your friends,

وَ رَزَقَنِي البَرائَةَ مِن أعدائِكُم أن يَجعَلَني مَعَكُم فِي الدُّنيا وَ الاخِرَة

WA RAZAQANIL BARAAA-ATA MIN AA'-DAAA-IKUM WA AN YAJ-A'LANEE MA-A'KUM
FIDDUNYAA WAL AAKHIRAH

To set me free from the corrupting influence of your enemies, to make me keep company with you in this world and in the hereafter.

وَ أن يُثَبِّتَ لي عِندَكُم قَدَمَ صِدقٍ فِي الدُّنيا وَ الاخِرَة

Stand firm beside you and follow your footsteps closely in this world and in the next world.

وَ أسئَلَهُ أن يُبَلِّغَني المَقامَ المحَمودَ لَكُم عِندَ الله

WA AS–ALUHOO AN YUBALLGHANIL MAQAAMAL MAH'MOODA LAKUM I'NDALLAAHI

I beseech him that he helps me to search your highly praised station, given to you by Allah, (to meet you)

وَ أن يَرزُقَني طَلَبَ ثاريكُم مَعَ إمامٍ هُديً ظاهِرٍ ناطِقٍ بِالحَقِّ مِنكُم

That he provides me the opportunity to fight for justice and fairplay alongwith and under the leadership of the rightly guided guide (in your Progeny) who surely will come and speak the truth.

وَ أسئَلُ اللهَ بِحَقِّكُم وَ بِالشَّأنِ الَّذي لَكُم عِندَه

WA AS–ALULLAAHA BI-H'AQQIKUM WA BISHSHAANILLAD'EE LAKUM I'NDAHOO

I beseech Allah in the name of your right and the purpose he assigned to you

أن يُعطيَني بِمُصابي بِكُم أفضَلَ ما يُعطِي مُصاباً بِمُصيبَتِه

AN YUA'- T'I YANEE BI- MUS'AABEE BIKUM AFZ'ALA MAA YUA–T'EE MUS'AABAN BI–MUS'EEBATIHEE

That He overwhelms me with grief in memory of your sorrows. More than the personal grief that torments any one who is in great agony,

مُصيبَةً ما أعظَمَها وَ أعظَمَ رَزيَّتَها فِي الاسلامِ وَ في جَميعِ السَّمواتِ وَ الاَرض

MUS'EEBATAN MAA AA'-Z'AMAHAA WA AA'–Z'AMA RAZIYYATAHAA FIL ISLAAMI
WA FEE JAMAEE-I'SSAMAAWAATI WAL ARZII

Sorrows which have no parallel and overshadow all calamities that took place in the history of Islam, for that matter, through out the whole universe.

اَللّهُمَّ اجعَلْني في مَقامي هذا مِمَّن تَنالُهُ مِنكَ صَلواتٌ وَ رَحمَةٌ وَ مَغفِرَة

Oh my Allah, in my on the spot situation, treat me like him (or her) who obtains from thee (thy) blessing, mercy and forgiveness.

اَللّهُمَّ اجعَل مَحيايَ مَحيا مُحمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ مَماتي مَماتَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّد

ALLAAHUMAJ-A'L MAH'YAAYA MAH'YAA MUH'AMMADIN WA AALI MUH'AMMAD
WA MAMAATEE MAMAATA MUH'AMMADIN WA AALI MUH'AMMAD

O my Allah, bring me to life again, after death, in the place Muhammad and his ''Aal'' (children) are dwelling, and make me depart from this world like Muhammad and his "Aal'' ( children) had left.

اَللّهُمَّ إنَّ هذا يَومٌ تَبَرَّكَت بِه بَنو أمَيَّةَ وَ ابْنُ آكِلَةِ الاَكبادِ

Oh my Allah this day is a day of rejoicing for the ''Bani Umayyah'' thr herd of the herdened criminals,

اللَّعينُ ابنُ اللَّعينِ عَلي لِسانِكَ وَ لِسانِ نَبيِّكَ صَلَّي‌اللهُ‌عَلَيهِ‌وَآلِه في كُلِّ مَوطِنٍ وَ مَوقِفٍ وَقَفَ فيهِ نَبيُّكَ صَلَّي‌اللهُ‌عَلَيهِ‌وَآلِه

ALLA-E'ENUBNUL LA–E'EN A'LAA LISAANIKA WA LISAANI NABIYYIKA
S'ALLALLAAHU A'LAYHI WA AALIHEE FEE KULLI MAWT'ININ WA MAWQIFIN
WAQAFA FEEHI NABIYYUKA S'ALLALLAAHU A'LAYHI WA AALIHEE

The eternally damned and accursed group, a fact that had been made public by thee and by thy Prophyet (blessing of Allah be on him and on his children) who, in every place and at all occasions, drew attention of people to this truism.

اَلّلهُمَّ العَنْ أباسُفيانَ وَ مُعاويَة وَ يَزيدَ ابنَ مُعاوَيَة عَلَيهِم مِنكَ الَّلعنَةُ أبَدَ الابِدينَ

ALLAAHUMMA AL-A'N ABAA SUFYAAN WA MU-A'AWIYATA WA YAZEEDABNA
MU-A'AWIYAH A'LAYHIM MINKALLAA'-NATU ABADAL AABIDEENA

O my Allah condemn and damn Abu sufyaan, Mu-a'awiyah, Yazid bin Muwa'awiyah and let it be an everlasting curse upon therr From thee.

وَ هذا يَومٌ فَرِحَتْ بِه آلُ زيادٍ وَ آلُ مَروانَ بِقَتلِهِم الحُسَينِ صَلَواتُ اللهِ عَليَه

WA HAAD'AA YAWMUN FARIH'AT BIHIEE AALU ZIYAADIN WA AALU MARWAAN
BI-QATLIHUMUL H'USSAYN S'ALAWAATULLAAHI ALAYHI

Today the descendant of Ziyaad and Marwan make merry, laugh and dance because on this day they killed Hussayn (blessing of allah be on him)

اَاللّهُمَّ فَضاعِفْ عَلَيهِم الَّلعنَ مِنكَ وَ العَذاب

ALLAAHUMA FAZ'AA-I'F A'LAYHIMULLAA'-NA MINKA WALA'D'AABAL ALEEM

O my Allah, therefore, double up the curse thou brings upon them and also the punishment thou decrees for them.

اَللّهُمَّ إنّي أتَقرَّبُ إلَيكَ في هذَا اليَومِ وَ في مَوقِفي هذا وَ أيّامِ حَيوتي بِالبَرائَةِ مِنهُم
وَ اللَّعنَةِ عَلَيهِم وَ بِالمُوالاتِ لِنبيِّكَ وَ آلِ نَبيِّكَ عَليهِ وَ عَليهِم السَّلام

O my Allah, I seek nearness to thee today in this frame of mind, cutting off all links with them for the rest of my life, denouncing them because of my love for thy prophet and his children, peace be on him and them.

(و در ادامه اين عبارات را صد مرتبه مي‌گوييم)

(then say one hundred times)

اَللّهُمَّ العَنْ أوَّلَ ظالِمٍ ظَلَمَ حَقَّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آخِرَ تابِعٍ لَه عَلي ذلك

ALLAAHUMMAL-A'N AWWALA Z'AALIMIN Z'ALAMA H'AQQA MUH'AMMADIN' WA
AALI MUH'AMMAD WA AAKHIRA TAABI-I'N LAHOO A'LAA D'AALIKA

O My Allah condemn and damn the first tyrant who unjustly and wrongfully usurped that which rightly belonged to Muhammad and the children of Muhammad, and bring curse upon those who, after him, followed in his footsteps.

اَللّهُمَّ العَن العِصابَةَ الَّتي جاهَدَت الحُسَين وَ شايَعَت وَ بايَعَت وَ تابَعَت عَلي قَتلِه

ALLAAHUMMAL-A'NIL I'S'AABATAL LATEE JAAHADATIL H'USAYN WA SHAAYA-A'T WA
BAAYA-A'T WA TAABA-A'T A'LAA QATLIHEE

O my Allah condemn and damn those conspirators who vexed and harassed Hussayn. Showed eagerness, agreed mutually, and joined hands to kill him.

اَللّهُمَّ العَنهُم جَميعاً

ALLAAHUMMAL-A'NHUM JAMEE-A'A

O my Allah bring curse upon all of them.

(و باز در ادامه اين عبارات را صد مرتبه مي‌گوييم)

(then say one hundred times)

السَّلامُ عَلَيكَ يا أبا عَبدِ اللهِ وَ عَلي الارواحِ الَّتي حَلَّت بِفِنائك

ASSALAAMU A'LAYKA YAA ABAA A'BDILLAAH WA A'LAL ARWAAH'ILLATEE
H'ALLAT BIFINAA-IKA

Peace be on you, O Abaa Abdellah, and on those souls who came to your camp to put themselves at your disposal.

عَلَيكَ مِنّي سَلامُ اللهِ أبداً ما بَقيتُ وَ بَقِيَ الَّليلُ وَ النَّهار

A'LAYKA MINEE SALAAMULLAAHI ABADAN MAA BAQEETU WA BAQIYALLAYLU WANNAHAAR

So far I am alive and the days and nights follow each other, I invoke Allah to send blessings on you for ever and ever.

وَ لا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ آخِرَالعَهدِ مِنّي لِزيارَتِكُم

WA LAA JA-A'LAHULLAAHU AAKHIRAL A'HDI MINNEE LI-ZIYAARATIKUM

May Allah not make my this pledge of close association physical as well as spiritual with you the last fulfillment.

السَّلامُ عَلَي الحُسَين وَ عَلي عَليِّ ابنِ الحُسَين وَ عَلي أولادِ الحُسَين وَ عَلي أصحابِ الحُسَين

ASSALAAMU A'LAL H'USAYN WA A'LAA A'LIYYIBNIL H'USAYN WA A'LAA
AWLAADIL H'USAYN WA A'LLA AS'H'AABIL H'USAYN

Peace be on Husayn, and on Ali son of Husayn, and on the children of Husayn, and on the friends of Husayn.

(و سپس در ادامه مي‌گوييم)

(then say)

اَلّلهُمَّ خُصَّ أنتَ أوَّلَ ظالِمٍ بِاللَّعنِ مِنّي

ALLAAHUMMA KHUS'S'A ANTA AWWALA Z'AALIMIN BIL-LAA'-NI MINEE

O my Allah, let the curse I calldown on the head of the first tyrant stick like a leech

وَ ابدَأ بِه أوَّلاً ثُمَّ الثّانيَ وَ الثّالِثَ وَ الرّابِع

WAABDAA BIHEE AWWALAN THUMMATH THAANIYA WATH THAALITHAWAR RAABI-A'

And stay put for ever on the first, then the second, the third and the fourth.

اَللّهُمَّ العَن يَزيدَ خامِسا

ALLAAHUMAL–A'N YAZEEDA KHAAMISAN

O my Allah damn and call down evil on the fifth, Yazid

وَ العَن عُبَيدَ اللهِ ابنَ زيادٍ وَ ابنَ مَرجانَة وَ عُمَرَ ابنَ سَعدٍ وَ شِمراً

WAL- A'N U'BAYDALLAAHIBNA ZIYAAD WABNA MARJAANAH WA U'MARABNA SAA'D WA SHIMRAA

And bring a curse upon Ubaydullah bin Ziyaad, ibna Marjanah, Umar bin Saad, and Shimr,

وَ آلَ أبي سُفيانَ وَ آلَ زيادٍ وَ آلَ مَروانَ إلي يَومِ القيامَة

WA AALA ABEE SUFYAAN WA AALA ZIAAD WA AALA MARWAAN ILAA YAWMIL QIYAAMAH

And on the descendants of Abu Sufyaan, on the descendants of Ziyaad, On the descendants of Marwaan, till the day of judgement.

(پس به سجده مي‌رويم و مي‌گوييم)

(then go into Sajdah and say)

اَللّهُمَّ لَكَ الحَمدُ حَمدَ الشّاكِرينَ لَكَ عَلي مُصابِهِم

ALLAAHUMMA LAKAL H'AMDU H'AMDASH SHAAKIREENA LAKA A'LAA MUS'AABIHIM

Oh my Allah! (All) praise is for thee (alone) praise of the "Ever-thankful to
thee'' who glorify thee whatever come to pass.

اَلحمدُ لِلّهِ عَلي عَظيمِ رَزيَّتي

ALH'AMDU LILLAAHI A'LAA A'Z'EEMI RAZIYYATEE

(All) praise is for Allah for my deepfelt intense grief.

اَللّهُمَّ ارزُقني شَفاعَةَ الحُسَين يَوم الوُرود

ALLAAHUMMAR-ZUQNEE SHAFAA–A'TAL H'USAYNI YAWMAL WUROOD

O my Allah make available for me the recommendations of Husayn on the day I present myself before thee.

وَ ثَبِّتْ لي قَدَمَ صِدقٍ عِندَكَ مَعَ الحُسَين وَ أصحابِ الحُسَين

WA THABIT LEE QADAMA S'IDQIN I'NDAKA MA-A'L H'USAYN WA AS'H'AABIL H'USAYN

Let me stand firm in safety before thee on account of my sincere attachment with
Husayn, alongwith him and his comrades,

اَلَّذينَ بَذَلوا مُهَجَهُم دونَ الحُسَينِ عَلَيه‌السَّلام

ALLAD'EENA BAD'ALOO MUHAJAHUM DOONAL H'USAYN A'LAYHISSALAAM

who sacrificed everything they had (heart, mind, soul and life) for Husayn, peace be on him.
